Role Description This is a part-time on-site role based in Mumbai for IB and IGCSE faculties providing one-on-one home tuition coaching. The faculty will plan and deliver subject-specific lessons aligned with IB and IGCSE curricula, including syllabus coverage, concept clarification, and exam preparation. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing lesson plans, assigning and reviewing homework, conducting regular assessments, and providing constructive feedback to learners and guardians.

The role involves adapting teaching methods to individual learning styles, maintaining progress records, and preparing students thoroughly for school examinations and board assessments.



The faculty will also uphold academic integrity, maintain professional communication, and ensure a secure and respectful learning environment at the student’s residence.

Qualifications

- Strong subject matter expertise in relevant IB and IGCSE subjects, with the ability to teach core concepts, problem-solving methods, and exam techniques clearly and confidently.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching or tutoring IB and/or IGCSE students, preferably in a home tuition or small-group coaching environment.
- Ability to design structured lesson plans, create practice materials, and conduct formative assessments tailored to individual learner needs.
- Excellent communication, explanation, and interpersonal skills, with a learner-centric, patient, and supportive teaching approach.
- Familiarity with IB and IGCSE examination patterns, marking schemes, and academic standards, including past papers and evaluation criteria.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant academic discipline; professional teaching qualifications or certifications in IB/IGCSE curricula are an advantage.
- Ability to travel to the learner’s residence in Mumbai for scheduled sessions and maintain reliable, punctual availability for part-time teaching hours.
- High standards of professionalism, ethical conduct, and commitment to learner success, including consistent progress tracking and regular feedback to parents or guardians.
