Role Description The Human Resources Intern will support day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records, assisting with onboarding and offboarding, and helping coordinate recruitment activities such as posting job ads and scheduling interviews. The role will also involve assisting with HR documentation, supporting the implementation of HR policies, and providing basic administrative support to the HR team. The intern may help with employee engagement initiatives, tracking leave and benefits information, and preparing HR reports or summaries as needed.

This is a full time, remote role that requires consistent communication,



collaboration with cross-functional teams, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge of Human Resources (HR) concepts and practices, with an interest in developing HR expertise.
- Ability to support HR Management activities, including recruitment coordination and employee record keeping.
- Understanding or coursework related to HR Policies and compliance in a professional environment.
- Basic familiarity with Employee Benefits and related documentation or processes.
- Skills in Personnel Management support, including communication, organization, and confidentiality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally across diverse teams.
- Proficiency in common office and collaboration tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, video conferencing platforms).
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Interest in the media or digital news industry is an advantage.
