: This is a full-time, in office horticulturist role based in Bengaluru. The horticulturist will be responsible for day-to-day garden and landscape maintenance across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, including planting, pruning, soil care, pest and disease management, and seasonal upkeep. The role includes assessing site conditions, recommending suitable plant species, and ensuring proper irrigation practices and plant health monitoring.

The horticulturist will collaborate with designers and project managers to execute landscaping plans, supervise garden workers or vendors as needed, and maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness on-site. The position also involves regular reporting on plant performance, suggesting improvements to enhance sustainability, and supporting client education on garden care.

About the Role

You will need to





· Meet with clients and the architect to understand the requirements of the project. Conduct a preliminary study of the site.

· Assess a site's potential to meet the client's specifications.

· Procurement of landscaping elements (for example: plants).

· Coordinate the arrangement of existing and proposed plants, features, and structures.

· Present proposals to clients as and when required, deal with inquiries, and negotiate any amendments to the final design.

· Carry out site visits and monitor and inspect landscape project progress to ensure that it adheres to plans.

· Ensure deadlines are met.

· Liaise with other professionals on the project.

· Need to make sure of plant estimation.

· Seek new work through marketing activities or by giving presentations.

Preferred Qualifications & Requirements

· Graduate Degree/Postgraduate Degree in Horticulture.

· 2 to 4 years of work experience in this field.

· A laptop & two-wheelers are compulsory.

Skills Required

· Good design/drawing skills, including computer-aided design (CAD) and Microsoft PowerPoint.

· Excellent presentation & communication skills

· Good observation skills and an eye for detail

· Strong time management skills

· Innovative ideas for design standardization

· A practical outlook
