About the Role

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of Finance to build and lead the finance function at EDMO. As we scale rapidly across India and the US, this role is pivotal in driving financial planning, governance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, and a strong background in SaaS or high-growth startup environments.

What You'll Do

- Own and drive the organisation's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support data-driven business decisions.
- Partner closely with the CEO and senior leadership as a strategic thought partner on growth strategy, investment decisions, and operational priorities.
- Monitor and report on key SaaS financial metrics — ARR, MRR, CAC, LTV, churn, and gross margin — to provide actionable insights to leadership and investors.
- Lead fundraising support activities including financial modelling, investor reporting, due diligence,



and cap table management.
- Build, scale, and standardise finance processes, policies, and controls from the ground up across India and US operations.
- Ensure full statutory compliance including GST, TDS, Companies Act requirements, and cross-border tax and regulatory obligations.
- Manage relationships with auditors, banking partners, legal counsel, and external advisors.
- Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and day-to-day finance operations with accuracy and efficiency.
- Implement and manage financial systems and tools to enable real-time financial visibility.
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team as the organisation scales.

What We're Looking For

- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2 years in a Head of Finance or senior finance leadership role.
- Prior experience in a SaaS, technology, or high-growth startup environment is strongly preferred.
- Strong command of SaaS financial metrics, financial modelling, and investor reporting.
- Working knowledge of Indian statutory compliance — GST, TDS, and Companies Act — and cross-border tax implications for India-US operations.
- Experience managing audits, fundraising due diligence, and regulatory filings.
- Proficiency with modern financial tools and ERP systems.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- High integrity, discretion, and the ability to operate effectively in a rapid-moving, ambiguous environment.

Bonus Points

- CA, CPA, or MBA (Finance) qualification.
- Experience supporting a funding round (Series A/B) or M&A; process.
- Exposure to US GAAP and multi-currency financial reporting.
- Familiarity with SaaS billing platforms.
