Role Description The Head of EPR Practice is a full-time, in office leadership role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. This role is responsible for leading the EPR practice across all key waste streams, overseeing strategy, service delivery, and client outcomes. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a multidisciplinary team, designing and refining EPR compliance frameworks, and ensuring timely execution of client registrations, credit management, and regulatory filings.

The role involves close collaboration with producers, importers, brand owners,



and authorized recyclers to structure compliance programs, optimize credit portfolios, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. The Head of EPR Practice will monitor regulatory developments, guide clients on policy changes, drive process improvements through technology and data insights, and contribute to business growth through practice development and thought leadership.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in EPR regulations, waste management frameworks, and environmental compliance, preferably across multiple waste streams.
- Demonstrated experience in practice or business unit leadership, including team management, resource planning, and performance oversight.
- Proficiency in regulatory filings, compliance operations, and process design, with the ability to build scalable, technology-enabled workflows.
- Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working with corporate clients, regulators, and recyclers.
- Background in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, law, public policy, or related field; postgraduate degree is an advantage.
- Experience in consulting, compliance advisory, or ESG services, with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes for clients.
- Analytical and data-driven mindset, comfortable with dashboards, reporting tools, and compliance management systems.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area and collaborate effectively across pan-India teams and partner networks.
