We are looking for an experienced senior finance leader to take ownership of treasury, fundraising, financial controllership, ALM, regulatory governance, investor management, and strategic finance. This role is ideal for a finance skilled who can operate across both corporate finance and financial services, with strong exposure to NBFC environments, debt fundraising, liquidity management, and structured finance.

The role will work closely with the Founder, CEO, Board, investors, lenders, rating agencies, and senior business leaders to strengthen the organisation's financial foundation and support sustainable growth. You will be responsible for building scalable finance processes, optimising the liability profile, maintaining strong financial governance, and providing data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the overall treasury, liquidity, ALM, and capital allocation strategy.
- Build and manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, debt investors, rating agencies, and funding partners.
- Lead debt fundraising across bank facilities, NCDs, Commercial Paper, and structured finance instruments.
- Optimise the liability profile and continuously identify opportunities to reduce the cost of funds.
- Evaluate and execute opportunities involving securitisation, co-lending, and other structured finance transactions.
- Drive financial reporting, accounting, MIS, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
- Establish strong financial controls, governance, audit processes, and scalable finance systems.
- Ensure accurate application of Ind AS, including Ind AS 109, ECL, and NBFC-specific accounting requirements.
- Lead timely and accurate RBI and regulatory reporting.
- Monitor capital adequacy, liquidity,



portfolio performance, and other critical financial metrics.
- Partner with Risk, Credit, Operations, and Business teams on financial and portfolio-related matters.
- Lead investor, lender, and Board reporting, including preparation of financial and business performance updates.
- Support fundraising discussions, due diligence processes, investor meetings, and strategic transactions.
- Work closely with the Founder and CEO on major financial, capital, and business decisions.
- Build and lead high-performing teams across controllership, FP&A;, treasury, and regulatory finance.
- Develop a scalable finance operating model aligned with the organisation's growth objectives.

What's Makes You a Great Fit
- 8+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably with significant exposure to NBFCs, lending, financial services, or related sectors.
- Strong expertise in Treasury, ALM, liquidity management, debt fundraising, and structured finance.
- Proven experience managing relationships with banks, lenders, investors, rating agencies, and other financial institutions.
- Hands-on understanding of NCDs, Commercial Paper, securitisation, co-lending, and structured funding.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, FP&A;, controllership, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance management.
- Solid understanding of Ind AS, Ind AS 109, ECL, NBFC accounting, RBI regulations, and financial governance.
- Demonstrated ability to build scalable finance processes, controls, and operating models in a growing organisation.
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to translate financial data into strategic business decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to engage with Boards, investors, lenders, senior leadership, and regulators.
- Strategic, hands-on, and highly accountable leadership style with a strong focus on ownership, transparency, discipline, and data-driven decision-making.
