Head of Brand & Marketing An executive marketing leadership role built on thoughtful restraint, clear intention and long-term brand value.
Location: Trivandrum, Kerala, India
Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer
Engagement Type: Full-Time
About Us The organization is an internationally recognised luxury outdoor living brand, designing and manufacturing premium architectural products which are specified by architects, landscape architects, interior designers and luxury residential developers around the world.
Our products are sold internationally across North America, Europe, the United Kingdom and Australia. We are building an organisation that values thoughtful strategy, deep customer understanding and long-term brand equity over short-term activity.
We are seeking a Head of Brand & Marketing to lead that function.
Our Key Principles
Our culture is built upon the following principles.
- Be Open: Share ideas freely, challenge respectfully, and welcome different perspectives.
- Be Transparent: Communicate with clarity, honesty, and context.
- Openness
- Honesty
- Clarity
- Accountability
3. Be Diligent: Take pride in thoughtful, accurate work.
- Be Responsible: Own your commitments and outcomes.
- Be Mature: Bring balance, perspective, and calm to challenges.
Applicants who progress through the recruitment process will be expected to demonstrate an understanding of these principles and how they apply in practice.
Role Overview The Head of Brand & Marketing is responsible for the strategic direction of all marketing activities across the company’s group.
This role exists to build demand, strengthen the brand, improve market intelligence and ensure every marketing initiative supports our long-term commercial objectives.
This is not a hands-on digital marketing role.
Instead, this position leads a multidisciplinary marketing team and determines where the organisation should focus its attention, investment and creative effort.
Success in this role comes from making good decisions - including the decision to pause, narrow the focus or not proceed - rather than simply producing more marketing activity.
How We Work: Thoughtful Restraint & Intention
Here, visible activity is not synonymous with value. This role requires a leader who can resist the pressure to respond to every challenge with more campaigns, more content or faster execution.
The successful candidate will be expected to examine and, where necessary, unlearn habits formed in fast-moving, output-driven environments. They must be willing to slow the organisation down when the diagnosis is incomplete, the strategic rationale is weak or the creative thinking is not yet good enough.
In practice, this means:
- Diagnosing the commercial or brand problem before prescribing marketing activity.
- Distinguishing genuine urgency from organisational impatience or the desire to demonstrate visible activity.
- Requiring a clear customer insight, objective, audience and strategic rationale before work begins.
- Protecting time for research, reflection, debate and creative development.
- Sequencing fewer priorities well instead of advancing many initiatives superficially.
- Being prepared to pause, reshape or decline work that does not strengthen the brand or serve a clear commercial purpose.
- Treating restraint as an active strategic choice, not as passivity or a lack of ambition.
This is not a preference for slowness. Once the direction is clear, the team should execute decisively and to a high standard. The discipline is to earn speed through clarity rather than using speed as a substitute for thought.

What We're Looking For
We are looking for a thoughtful marketing leader who understands that great marketing is not measured by the number of campaigns produced, but by the quality of the decisions behind them.
The successful candidate is naturally curious, asks insightful questions before proposing solutions, and is comfortable challenging assumptions with evidence and sound reasoning. They understand that enduring luxury brands are built through consistency, restraint and a deep understanding of their customers - not by chasing every new trend.
They must be comfortable operating in a culture where the first contribution is not always an action plan. At times, the most valuable response will be a better question, a sharper diagnosis, a narrower brief, a recommendation to wait or a clear decision not to proceed.
They will foster a culture where strategic thinking comes before execution, creativity is grounded in commercial objectives, and every marketing initiative serves a clear purpose. This role requires someone who can inspire a multidisciplinary team while balancing imagination with discipline, ensuring that marketing remains a long-term competitive advantage for the business rather than simply a promotional function.
