LeanHyphen runs Financial Literacy, STEM, Digital Literacy and Career Readiness programmes in schools across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. We work with 24+ partner schools and over 5,000 students, and every student builds a portfolio of their own work.
We are looking for a full-time Graphic Designer in Hyderabad to own the visual output of the company. You will work directly with the Growth and Marketing Lead.
What you will do
Design the material that goes in front of schools and parents. Sales one-pagers, brochures, presentation decks, event material and social posts.
Build and hold a visual system. We have a brand with defined colours and typography. Your job is to keep every asset recognisably ours across print, social and screen.
Design for two audiences with two different personalities. A document a principal reads in a ten minute meeting and a post a parent sees on their phone are not the same problem.
Turn product screens into material a school can understand.
You will work from real product screenshots and build them into clean layouts.
Work to short cycles. Most requests come with a direction and copy already written. You take it to a finished file.
What we are looking for
Two to four years of design experience, in an agency, a brand team or freelance.
A portfolio we can look at. We care more about what you have finished than where you studied.
Strong command of Illustrator, Photoshop and either Figma or InDesign.
Layout and typography ability. Most of our work is text plus one image, and that is harder to do well than it sounds.
Video editing is a strong plus. We have a growing need for short-form video and event films, and we would rather one person owned both.
Comfortable working in Hyderabad, on-site, with occasional travel to school events.
Positive to have
Motion graphics or After Effects. Experience designing for education, or for anything sold to institutions rather than individuals. Any experience shooting or editing event footage.
