About the Role

Looking for Graduate Engineer Trainees (GET) to join our Plant Operations & Manufacturing Team.

We are particularly interested in final-year B.Tech Mechanical Engineering students graduating in 2026, as well as suitable recent graduates/alumni. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to begin their professional career in Plant Operations and Manufacturing from September 2026.

** Candidates with strong analytical acumen, good computer knowledge, and interest in AI, automation, data analysis and digital manufacturing tools will be preferred.

Eligibility

- B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
- Final-year students graduating in 2026 are eligible.
- Recent graduates and suitable alumni candidates may also apply.
- Candidates from reputed engineering colleges, particularly from East India, are preferred.
- Strong academic performance and good technical aptitude.
- Willingness to work at Kolkata.

Preferred Skills & Attributes
- Positive understanding of Mechanical Engineering and manufacturing fundamentals.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
- Good computer proficiency and MS Office knowledge.
- Knowledge/interest in AI, automation, ERP/MIS or data analysis will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude, discipline and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities




- Assist in daily production and plant operations.
- Monitor production processes and support achievement of production targets.
- Prepare production and shift reports and maintain process records.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Planning teams.
- Monitor machine utilization and report downtime/abnormalities.
- Assist in Root Cause Analysis, corrective actions and process improvement.
- Support 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety and quality standards.
- Update ERP/MIS and support production data analysis.
- Assist in reducing production losses, rework and wastage.
- Support new product trials and process optimization activities.
