Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Generative AI Engineer at The Agentic Loop. In this role, you will design, build, and iterate on agentic AI systems and generative AI workflows that support our content, learning programs, and experimental products. You will be responsible for prototyping and deploying AI agents, integrating foundation models and APIs, and optimizing prompts, pipelines, and tooling for reliability and performance.

You will collaborate closely with content and curriculum teams to turn cutting-edge AI concepts into practical demos, tools, and teaching materials, while contributing to internal best practices and documentation.



You will also stay current with the latest research and releases in generative and agentic AI, evaluating new models and frameworks and sharing insights with the broader team.

Qualifications

- Strong software engineering skills, including proficiency in Python and experience building production-quality systems or prototypes.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI models and tools (e.g., large language models, multimodal models, vector databases, prompt engineering, model evaluation).
- Background in AI/ML engineering, including familiarity with machine learning frameworks, inference optimization, and integrating model APIs into applications.
- Experience designing and implementing AI agents or orchestration frameworks (e.g., agent architectures, tool use, workflow automation, retrieval-augmented generation).
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical explanations and collaborate with non-technical stakeholders on content and learning experiences.
- Comfort working in a remote, fast-moving workplace, with strong communication skills, self-direction, and a bias toward experimentation and iteration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior work on AI products, research, or open-source contributions is a plus.
