The organization focuses on disciplined daily practice, requiring learners to attempt, struggle, build, present, and defend their work before progressing. Cohorts are deliberately limited to a maximum of 10 students to ensure genuine personal attention and honest, hands-on mentorship.

Gen Aspira addresses India’s gap between massive GenAI course enrollments and low practical AI skills by emphasizing engineering rigor over theoretical familiarity. The environment is demanding, realistic, and designed for individuals who want to become engineers capable of building and shipping working GenAI systems.

Role Description The GEN AI TRAINER at Gen Aspira will design and deliver rigorous, project-based learning experiences that focus on building practical GenAI systems end-to-end. This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru involves mentoring small cohorts, guiding learners through debugging, iterative rebuilding, and presenting their work under critical review. The trainer will create and refine curriculum modules on topics such as contemporary deep learning architectures, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, model evaluation, and deployment workflows.

Day-to-day work includes reviewing student code and projects, providing structured feedback, running live labs and code reviews, and ensuring each learner demonstrates genuine understanding before moving forward.



The trainer will also collaborate with the founding team to continuously improve pedagogy, align projects with real-world engineering standards, and maintain the high bar of competence that defines Gen Aspira.

Qualifications

- Strong hands-on experience with GenAI engineering, including building and deploying models, working with LLMs, and implementing RAG or similar production-grade pipelines.
- Proficiency in core software engineering skills: Python programming, version control (e.g., Git), testing, and debugging complex systems.
- Solid understanding of machine learning and deep learning fundamentals, including model architectures, training workflows, evaluation, and optimization.
- Experience with modern AI tooling and platforms, such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, vector databases, cloud or container-based deployment, and relevant APIs.
- Demonstrated ability to teach, mentor, and facilitate small, intensive cohorts with a focus on project-based, practice-driven learning.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in explaining complex technical concepts clearly, giving constructive critical feedback, and conducting code reviews.
- Comfort with high-rigor environments that demand learners attempt before instruction, build before certification, and defend their work publicly.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience in GenAI engineering.
