Eclipse360 is an all-in-one operating platform built for solar and battery businesses. We are growing across Australia and India and are now preparing for our next phase of international expansion.
We are looking for a smart, highly driven junior professional or intern to work closely with the founders on fundraising, grants, strategic partnerships and global expansion.
This is not a routine research role. The person will help us identify and approach the right investors, strategic energy partners and government funding programs across Australia, India, Singapore, Europe and other priority markets.
What you will work on
Research climate-tech, energy-tech, SaaS and strategic investors globally
Identify venture capital funds, corporate VCs, energy companies and strategic partners relevant to Eclipse360
Research and prepare applications for Australian and international government grants
Build investor databases, funding pipelines and prioritised outreach lists
Understand investor thesis, portfolio companies, cheque size and strategic fit before outreach
Prepare customised investor briefs, pitch materials, executive summaries and grant responses
Help coordinate investor outreach, follow-ups and meeting preparation
Research solar, battery, DER, electricity retail, finance, procurement and renewable-energy markets
Analyse potential strategic relationships with financiers, distributors, manufacturers, STC providers, retailers and energy companies
Identify opportunities where investment can create value beyond capital through customers, distribution, integrations and market access
Maintain an organised fundraising CRM/data room and track every investor conversation
Use AI extensively for research, analysis, drafting, comparison, market intelligence and workflow automation
Support founders during due diligence and investment discussions
What we are looking for
Engineering, energy, finance, business, economics or technology background
Strong interest in solar, battery storage, renewable energy and climate technology
Ability to understand a technical SaaS product and explain it commercially
Excellent written and spoken English
Confident communicating with investors and business leaders internationally
Strong analytical and internet research skills
Very comfortable using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and other AI platforms
Ability to turn large amounts of information into short, decision-ready summaries
Commercial mindset — able to understand how partnerships can generate revenue for both parties
Strong Excel / Google Sheets and presentation skills
Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working directly with founders
Able to work independently without needing continuous supervision
Highly desirable
Previous internship or experience in VC, investment banking, startup fundraising, consulting, renewable energy or SaaS
Understanding of startup valuation, cap tables, dilution, ARR/MRR, CAC,
churn and SaaS metrics
Familiarity with government grants and grant-writing
Knowledge of the Australian solar and battery market
Understanding of distributed energy resources, electricity markets, energy finance or renewable certificates
Experience with LinkedIn research, Crunchbase, PitchBook or similar databases
Ability to build simple financial models and investor comparison models
Who will succeed in this role
We are looking less for years of experience and more for someone who is:
Very smart + curious + fast learner + technically capable + commercially minded + excellent communicator + extremely good with AI.
You should enjoy researching unfamiliar subjects, finding the right people, connecting dots and turning opportunities into action.
Why this role is different
You will work directly with the founders and gain hands-on exposure to:
Global startup fundraising
Venture capital and strategic investment
Government grants
Climate-tech and energy markets
SaaS business models
International expansion
Strategic partnerships
AI-assisted business development For the right person, this can grow into a Fundraising & Strategic Partnerships Manager / Corporate Development role as Eclipse360 expands internationally.
