Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Data & AI Search Engineer with strong expertise in Elasticsearch, RAG pipelines, Agentic AI, Python, and LLM applications to build production-grade enterprise AI search solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design scalable data ingestion pipelines from SharePoint, Liferay, Data Lakes, databases, and web sources .
- Build and optimize Elasticsearch-based enterprise search .
- Implement hybrid search (BM25 + vector/semantic search) and advanced retrieval.
- Develop end-to-end RAG pipelines with embeddings, re-ranking, and contextual retrieval.
- Build Agentic AI workflows , tool/function calling, and multi-step retrieval.
- Integrate LLMs such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI,



Gemini, Claude, Llama, or Mistral .
- Implement document processing, semantic chunking, metadata enrichment, and access-controlled retrieval.
- Optimize search relevance using BM25, Query DSL, boosting, analyzers, Precision/Recall/NDCG .
- Support search UI integration using React (desirable).

Must-Have Skills

- 8+ years software/data engineering experience.
- 6+ years Enterprise Search / RAG / LLM experience.
- Robust Elasticsearch expertise.
- Strong Python skills.
- Hands-on RAG, Vector Search, Embeddings, Re-ranking .
- Experience with LangChain / LlamaIndex / Haystack .
- Experience with Agentic AI, Tool Calling & Function Calling .
- Strong understanding of enterprise data ingestion and search security.
