ASSOCIATE — FOUNDER'S OFFICE

Not Rocket Science is building a new-age nutrition and functional beverage company for India.

We operate across D2C, marketplaces, quick commerce and offline retail, with multiple product ranges in market and several launches in the pipeline.

We're looking for someone to join the Founder's Office and work directly with the founders on the highest-impact problems in the business.

This is not an observer role. You'll be expected to understand problems quickly, work out what needs to be done, and drive it to completion.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

- Operating cadence and follow-through A large part of this role is making sure that what gets decided actually happens.
- Running the weekly and monthly business review cadence — agendas, numbers, decisions, owners
- Converting commitments made in meetings into tracked action items and driving them to closure
- Flagging slippage early, to the founder, before it becomes a problem
- Keeping the founder informed with the right numbers at the right time, so decisions don't wait on information
- Following up across functions without formal authority — through clarity and persistence
- Data, analysis and decision support

Turning information into decisions. Real examples of the kind of work this involves:
- Pulling apart D2C cohort and repeat data to work out what's actually driving repurchase
- Building the unit economics for a new SKU before launch, and tracking them after
- Working out what a supplier or manufacturing agreement genuinely commits us to
- Understanding why a particular city over-indexes online, and whether that's an offline opportunity




- Building dashboards and management reports that people actually use
- Ad-hoc analysis for the founders, at short notice
- AI implementation across NRS

Making the company faster and better by putting AI into how we actually operate.
- Identifying workflows across teams that can be automated or improved
- Building those workflows — agents, automations, internal tools
- Getting team members to actually use them, and measuring whether they saved time or money
- Evaluating new tools and deciding which ones are genuinely useful for us

You don't need to be an AI engineer. You do need to have built things, not just used ChatGPT.
- New products and launches

We have an aggressive product pipeline. You may work across any stage of a launch:
- Market and competitor research
- Pricing and positioning
- Launch planning and channel strategy
- Tracking launch performance
- Coordinating across product, marketing, sales and operations

WHAT THE FIRST SIX MONTHS WILL LIKELY INVOLVE

Getting our channel and cohort numbers into a state where they can be trusted. Supporting preparation for an external fundraise. Standing up the review cadence across sales, operations and marketing.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We care more about how you think and operate than about your degree or last job title.





You'll do well here if you:

- Are extremely curious and learn quickly
- Are comfortable figuring things out without detailed instructions
- Are very comfortable with numbers, Excel/Google Sheets and messy data
- Already use AI tools heavily, and have built something with them
- Can communicate clearly and structure complicated problems
- Have high ownership and genuine follow-through — you close loops without being chased
- Are comfortable holding people to commitments, politely and persistently
- Prefer doing and building over making presentations about what should be done

Experience in startups, consulting, consumer brands, e-commerce or a Founder's Office is useful, but not mandatory.

WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT

This is not an Executive Assistant role. You won't primarily be managing the founder's calendar, booking meetings or handling administrative work.

The role exists to increase the organisation's ability to think, solve and execute.
