Email: [email protected] The Role:

You will own the end-to-end design, development, and selection of all fluidic components across the propulsion system, valves, regulators, filters, and sealing systems, and the interfaces that connect them to tanks, feedlines, and thrusters. You are accountable for component-level performance, compatibility, and qualification readiness across a broad scope. This role holds the feed system's components coherent and qualification-ready.

What You’ll Work On

Own the end-to-end design, development, and selection of all fluidic components, valves, regulators, filters, and sealing systems, across the propulsion system.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the end-to-end design, development, and selection of all fluidic components, valves, regulators, filters, and sealing systems, across the propulsion system
- Own the interface definition between fluidic components and adjacent systems, tank outlet ports, feedline connections,

and thruster inlet interfaces
- Represent the Fluidic Components Team at design reviews and component functional test campaigns
- Accountable for component-level performance, compatibility, and qualification readiness of all assigned fluidic hardware
- Accountable for DFM and test campaign understanding being embedded across the team
- Coordinate with System Development Lead on component integration into the master assembly, envelope constraints, routing interfaces, and mass contribution
- Coordinate with System Architecture & Integration sub-team on feedline routing interfaces and thermal conditioning requirements that affect component selection and placement
- Coordinate with Tank Development Lead on outlet port interface geometry, sealing surface specifications, and pressurant side component compatibility
- Coordinate with Thruster Development Lead on inlet conditions delivered to the thruster, pressure, temperature, flow rate, and cleanliness requirements
- Coordinate with Propellant & Materials Department on propellant and pressurant compatibility data for all wetted materials in assigned components

Required Qualifications

- 6–12 years of experience in aerospace fluid system component design, development, and qualification

- Deep expertise in at least two of: solenoid valve design, pressure regulation systems, filter design, or sealing system engineering
- Proficiency in flow analysis, pressure drop modelling, valve Cv characterisation, cavitation, water hammer effects at component level
- Demonstrated ability to manage a lean, multi-disciplinary team across a broad component scope

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with component qualification processes for space or aerospace applications, acceptance testing, qualification testing, COTS component evaluation
- Familiarity with green propellant and pressurant compatibility, material selection for wetted surfaces, elastomer compatibility, surface treatment requirements
- Experience with contamination control requirements and their application in component design and assembly
- Background in relevant fluid system standards, ECSS-E-ST-35, MIL-PRF, or equivalent component qualification standards
- Experience with component-level test campaign planning, functional flow, proof, leak, and endurance testing
- Familiarity with COTS component evaluation and qualification for space propulsion applications

What Does Success Look Like

- Success is a component set whose performance, compatibility, and qualification readiness are assured across valves, regulators, filters, and seals, with interfaces to tanks, feedlines, and thrusters cleanly defined. You will be accountable for embedding DFM and test campaign understanding across the team and representing it at design reviews and functional test campaigns.
