Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Finishing Foreman in construction.

The Finishing

Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating finishing works such as plastering, painting, tiling, carpentry, and other interior and exterior finishes to meet project specifications and timelines. Daily tasks include planning and allocating work to finishing crews, inspecting workmanship, ensuring quality control, and resolving issues at the site. The role involves coordinating with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth workflow and resource availability.

The Finishing





Foreman must ensure compliance with safety standards, maintain site cleanliness, and keep accurate records of work progress and material usage.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team coordination, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess experience with Heavy Equipment and construction tools relevant to finishing and site activities.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with workers, management, subcontractors, and clients.
- Candidates should possess Carpentry skills and practical knowledge of finishing works such as joinery, fittings, and interior finishes.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance skills for identifying defects, ensuring repairs, and upholding quality and safety standards.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience as a foreman or supervisor on building finishing projects, knowledge of construction drawings and specifications, familiarity with safety regulations, and basic computer or mobile-based reporting skills.
- A relevant technical diploma or trade certification in civil construction or related field, and experience in Mumbai or similar urban environments, will be considered an advantage.
