We are looking for a skilled FinOps Engineer to help build and scale our Cloud Financial Operations platform. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of Cloud Engineering, Data Engineering, Automation, and Financial Operations.

You will be responsible for building cloud cost data pipelines, automating governance, developing reusable financial reporting, and enabling actionable insights across AWS environments.

Build and maintain automated data pipelines for AWS Cost & Usage Reports (CUR).

Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS services including Athena, Glue, and S3.

Design reusable cloud financial data models across projects, services, cost centers, and business units.

Implement and automate cloud tagging governance and compliance reporting.

Create dashboards and self-service reporting for Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams.

Support Cloud Financial Management (CFM) assessments and operational improvements.





Collaborate with Cloud, Platform, Data Engineering, and Finance teams to optimize cloud spend.

Contribute to AI-enabled cloud cost analytics and automation initiatives.

- 4–7 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Data Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong experience with:
- AWS Cost & Usage Reports (CUR)
- Amazon Athena
- AWS Glue
- Amazon S3
- AWS IAM
- AWS Cost Explorer
- Robust SQL skills and hands-on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Proficiency in Python scripting.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CloudFormation).
- Experience with BI tools such as Amazon QuickSight, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Good understanding of FinOps principles, cloud cost allocation, CAPEX vs OPEX, budgeting, and cost optimization.
