Wakeup is inviting applications for a Financial Analytics Intern to support financial planning, valuation, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis.
This role is designed for finance students, recent graduates, freshers, and aspiring finance professionals who want to understand how financial data and analysis contribute to business planning and strategic decision-making.
- Assist in analyzing financial statements and business performance
- Support company and project valuation exercises
- Research financial and business information required for valuation analysis
- Assist in preparing annual and periodic budgets
- Compare actual performance against budgeted figures and analyze variances
- Support financial forecasting using historical performance and business assumptions
- Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, and other financial indicators
- Assist in developing financial projections and scenario analysis
- Prepare structured financial reports and analytical summaries
- Conduct research to support financial planning and business analysis
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc analytical and reporting requirements
