We are looking for a Financial & Portfolio Analyst to support fund modelling, investment analysis, portfolio monitoring, and financial reporting. The role will involve working closely with senior leadership and the investment team to assess investments, maintain fund and portfolio models, analyse financial performance, and provide data-driven insights for investment and reporting decisions.

The ideal candidate will have strong financial modelling and analytical skills, a good understanding of investment and portfolio analysis, and the ability to work confidently with financial statements, performance metrics, and quantitative data.

Experience with Power BI and investment/portfolio reporting would be an advantage.

Job Responsibilities

- Build, develop, and maintain fund models for selected funds, including updating key assumptions, scenario/sensitivity analysis, cash flow projections, and fund-level performance metrics (e.g., IRR, MOIC).
- Support underwriting and investment analysis of deals across funds as required - including financial statement analysis, financial projections, and risk assessment - and assist in drafting credit memos/investment memos.
- As needed, analyse financial statements of borrowers/portfolio companies to monitor ongoing loan/investment performance.
- Prepare portfolio performance updates and other ad hoc analyses as requested by senior leadership or the Investment Committee.
- Update and maintain portfolio reports in investor and client materials, leveraging Power BI portfolio reports; perform additional manual calculations/adjustments as required.
- Prepare track record and other portfolio/quantitative analyses - including performance analysis, bench-marking, and ad hoc analytical requests - to support client, investor, and internal reporting needs.

Requirements

- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, investment analysis,



portfolio management, private equity, private credit, or a similar field.
- Strong financial modelling and Excel skills, with experience building fund or investment models.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, financial projections, and investment analysis.
- Experience with portfolio performance analysis, including metrics such as IRR, MOIC, bench-marking, and returns analysis.
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; CFA/CA/ACCA is an advantage.
