Role Summary

Wildpunch Design Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial records. The role covers the full accounting cycle — from recording transactions and reconciliations through to the preparation of financial statements, cash flow management, and statutory compliance including GST and other tax filings.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting knowledge with a practical understanding of Indian taxation and a disciplined, deadline-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & General Accounting

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts, including journal entries, ledgers, and voucher entries.
- Record all financial transactions (sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments) in the accounting software.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including timely vendor payments and customer collections follow-up.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Financial Statements & Reporting

- Prepare and finalise the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, and supporting schedules on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Prepare and analyse Cash Flow Statements to track inflows and outflows and support liquidity planning.
- Generate periodic financial reports (MIS) for management, including variance analysis against budgets.
- Ensure all financial reporting complies with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.

Cash Flow & Fund Management

- Monitor daily cash and bank positions to ensure adequate liquidity for operations.
- Track and forecast cash flow requirements and flag potential shortfalls or surpluses.




- Assist in working-capital management and support fund planning decisions.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

- Prepare, reconcile, and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns) accurately and within due dates.
- Reconcile GST input tax credit (ITC) with GSTR-2B and follow up on mismatches with vendors.
- Compute and deposit TDS, and file quarterly TDS returns.
- Support Income Tax computations, advance tax workings, and coordination for annual filings.
- Stay current with changes in tax laws, GST notifications, and compliance requirements.

Audit & Controls

- Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits by preparing schedules and providing required documentation.
- Ensure proper filing and retention of financial records, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Support the implementation and adherence of internal financial controls and processes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com). CA-Inter, CMA-Inter, or equivalent is an added advantage.
- 2–5 years of hands-on accounting experience; agency or services industry experience preferred.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, the full accounting cycle, and financial statement preparation.
- Practical, working knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance and filing procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally / Zoho Books / equivalent) and strong command of MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, reconciliations).
- Solid analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet statutory deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
