About the RoleBikham Healthcare is looking for a highly capable Finance leader who can build and run the financial backbone of a fast-growing global healthcare technology company — from the ground up. This role owns both the operational engine (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, SaaS vendor payments, collections) and the financial management engine (FP&A;, budgeting, forecasting, monthly/quarterly/annual close, internal controls, and reporting) for the organization, while building and leading the team that supports it.

The ideal candidate combines deep finance fundamentals — including SaaS revenue mechanics, forecasting, budgeting, and close discipline — with operational rigor and a builder's mindset toward automation and AI. This is not just a “run the numbers” role; it's a “build the finance function” role. This person will establish the checks and balances, systems, and cadence that let Bikham scale with confidence, working closely with the founders, COO, and department leaders across the business.

Required Qualifications

Education● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

● MBA (Finance), CA, CFA, CPA, or equivalent qualification preferred.

Experience● 8–12 years of experience in finance, spanning both finance operations and FP&A;/financial management.

● Experience managing or building a finance team, including hiring and developing team members.

● Experience owning a monthly/quarterly/annual close process, including reconciliations and reporting.

● Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, ideally including ownership of an annual budget cycle.

● Experience in a SaaS or subscription-revenue business, with a solid understanding of revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and SaaS metrics.

● Experience managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and vendor payment systems.

● Experience implementing financial automation tools and internal controls.

● Experience negotiating vendor contracts and commercial agreements.

Skills & Competencies● Strong understanding of financial operations, FP&A;, and cash flow management end-to-end.

● Working knowledge of SaaS finance mechanics: bookings vs. billings vs. revenue, ARR/MRR, renewals, churn, and unit economics.

● Experience with financial systems, FP&A;/reporting tools, and financial automation and AI-enabled tools.

● Ability to design efficient, well-controlled financial workflows and processes.

● Strong people-leadership skills, with the ability to build and manage a high-performing team.

● Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.

● Comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, and equally comfortable bringing structure and discipline to it.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinance Team Leadership● Build, structure, and manage the finance operations team as the company scales, including hiring, onboarding, and developing team members.

● Define clear roles, ownership, and accountability across the finance function.

● Set the operating cadence, standards, and quality bar for the team's work.

Internal Controls & Financial Governance● Design and implement checks and balances across financial processes, including approval hierarchies, segregation of duties,

● Establish and document finance policies and procedures to ensure consistency, accuracy, and audit-readiness.

● Proactively identify control gaps and financial risk as the company grows and put safeguards in place before they become problems.

Financial Close & Consolidation● Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process end-to-end, including reconciliations, accruals, and close checklists.

● Continuously shorten and tighten the close cycle through better process design and automation.

● Ensure financials are accurate, timely, and audit-ready at every close.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;) and Forecasting● Build and maintain rolling financial forecasts across revenue, expenses, headcount, and cash.

● Own the quarterly reforecast process, incorporating actuals, pipeline, and business changes.

● Partner closely with the COO on the company's operating plan, providing the financial modeling and analysis that inform strategic decisions.

Budgeting & Departmental Financial Planning● Drive the annual budget planning process end-to-end along with the COO, from timeline and templates through final leadership approval.

● Work with department leads to establish departmental budgets and track actuals against plan throughout the year.

● Monitor spending, flag variances, and recommend cost optimization strategies across the business.

Reporting & Metrics● Produce clear, recurring financial reporting and dashboards for founders and leadership, including P&L;, cash flow, budget-vs-actual, and key SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, net revenue retention, churn, gross margin, CAC/LTV, and similar).

● Translate financial data into operational insight leadership can act on, not just numbers on a page.

● Continuously improve reporting through better tooling, automation, and visualization.

SaaS Revenue Operations & Sales Interface● Understand the mechanics of SaaS finance — bookings vs. billings vs. revenue, deferred revenue, and revenue recognition — and apply that understanding across forecasting and reporting.

● Interface directly with sales leadership on revenue forecasting, pipeline-to-revenue bridges, and renewal forecasting.

● Partner with sales and customer success on subscription revenue recognition and renewal/churn tracking to keep forecasts grounded in what's actually happening in the business.

Financial Operations Automation● Implement automation across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, close, and reporting workflows.

● Track invoice due dates, payment cycles, and outstanding receivables.

● Implement structured AR follow-up processes to ensure timely collections.

● Improve cash flow management and collection efficiency.

Financial Systems & Infrastructure● Implement and manage contemporary finance and FP&A; software, including automation and AI-enabled tools.

● Build scalable financial systems and processes that support company growth, from a lean startup footprint through more formal, audit-ready operations.

● Ensure financial processes remain transparent, efficient, well-documented, and easy to hand off or scale.

Strategic Capital & Investment AwarenessWhile the primary focus of this role is finance operations and FP&A;, the candidate should also maintain awareness of financial markets and investment opportunities. The individual may occasionally assist leadership with insights related to capital allocation, treasury management, and emerging financial opportunities.

What Success in This Role Looks Like in the First 12 Months● A functioning finance team is in place, with clear roles and a reliable operating cadence.

● Internal controls and checks and balances are documented and operating across AP, AR, and close.

● A clean, reliable monthly close process is running on a predictable timeline, with quarterly and annual close following the same standard.

● The first full annual budget planning process has been run end-to-end, with department-level budgets in place and tracked.

● Quarterly reforecasts are a routine part of the operating rhythm, done in close partnership with the COO.

● Leadership has clear, recurring financial reporting and dashboards, including SaaS metrics, to guide decisions.

● Revenue and renewal forecasting are running in close coordination with sales.
