Finance and Accounts Manager (Remote – US Supermarket Retail)

? CTC: ₹7,00,000/year (₹50,000 fixed + ₹8,333 performance-linked variable, monthly)

Are you a numbers-driven finance skilled with hands-on US supermarket/grocery retail accounting experience? We're looking for a Finance and Accounts Manager to own our day-to-day financial operations and act as a trusted right hand to our CFO — someone who doesn't just track the numbers, but actively finds ways to save money, forecast smarter, and grow the bottom line.

What you'll own:

✅ Daily review of AP, AR, bank activity & cash flow

✅ QuickBooks accuracy & financial reporting (daily/weekly/monthly)

✅ P&L;, COGS, margin, and expense analysis

✅ Identifying cost leakage & savings opportunities — including better interest rates/ROI on cash

✅ Store-level profitability tracking and red-flag reporting

✅ Building SOPs and internal financial controls

✅ Managing the accounting team + tracking Store Manager/Ops KPI performance

✅ Evaluating new/upcoming projects and expansions — ROI, payback period, break-even analysis

✅ Financial forecasting and modeling for proposed growth initiatives

✅ Identifying where we're underperforming or leaving money on the table, and recommending ways to increase revenue

What you bring:

Education:





? Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com/MBA-Finance)

? CA/CMA (Inter or Qualified) preferred but not mandatory

? CPA (US) is a strong plus, given the US supermarket retail client base

Experience & Skills:

✔️ 3–6 years in US supermarket/grocery retail accounting/finance — required

✔️ Strong hands-on QuickBooks Desktop experience

✔️ Comfort with US banking (ACH, wires, merchant deposits)

✔️ Solid understanding of supermarket/grocery retail cost structures — shrinkage, category-level margins, inventory turns, vendor rebates, per-store P&L;

✔️ Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and project/ROI evaluation

✔️ Ability to build simple financial models in Excel for expansion or investment decisions

✔️ Prior team management experience

✔️ High integrity — this role includes direct bank access

✔️ Strong English communication for CFO-facing reporting

✔️ QSR accounting experience is a plus, not required

✔️ Willingness to work 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM CST (approx. 5:30 PM – 2:30 AM IST)
