Role Description The Fiber Engineer role at Aerial Telecom Solutions is a full-time, on-site position based in Moradabad.

The Fiber

Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and implementing fiber optic networks, including outside plant infrastructure, in alignment with project and client requirements. Daily tasks include preparing and reviewing network designs, conducting site surveys, coordinating with field teams for fiber installation, splicing, and testing,



and maintaining documentation and as-built records. The role involves monitoring network performance, troubleshooting fiber-related issues, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and collaborating with project managers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to meet delivery timelines.

The Fiber

Engineer also contributes to continuous improvement of network reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in fiber infrastructure, including Fibre and Optical Fiber technologies, and familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Outside Plant (OSP) design, deployment, and maintenance for fiber networks.
- Proficiency in Network Design for fiber-based telecom networks, including route planning, capacity planning, and documentation.
- Demonstrated Project Management skills to plan, coordinate, and deliver fiber projects on time and within scope.
- Relevant technical degree or diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to interpret network drawings, use fiber testing tools (OTDR, power meters), and maintain accurate technical reports.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in office in field conditions.
- Experience in 4G/5G, broadband, or enterprise fiber deployments, and knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements, is an advantage.
