We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Digital Asset Librarian to join Omnicom Production. In this role, you will bring a strong understanding of taxonomy, metadata, and digital asset organization to ensure our platform delivers accurate and relevant results for studios and clients. You will optimize workflows for efficient asset ingestion and retrieval within the DAM, and collaborate closely with a global team of Librarians, Project Managers, and solution-focused Program Directors to deliver a seamless, intuitive DAM experience for our agency partners and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize, catalogue, tag, and publish assets going into the DAM ecosystem
- Create, manage, and apply usage rights records to assets to prevent misuse or untimely release
- Manage and process asset fulfilment requests and workflows
- Monitor the full asset lifecycle, ensuring accurate cataloguing and organization at every stage
- Collaborate with the team to evaluate client needs related to asset organization and searchability
- Maintain a clear understanding of the DAM's role as a central component of the production technology stack
- Uphold IPG and Craft's values through mutual respect, partnership, and open communication
- Engage in an environment of strategic thinking, appropriate risk-taking, ongoing performance feedback, and professional development
What We're Looking For
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a Digital Asset Librarian
- Basic knowledge of DAM, metadata, and taxonomy concepts
- A genuine passion for technology and digital systems
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively as part of a global team across multiple offices and time zones
- Strong interpersonal skills,
a positive attitude, and comfort working in a team-oriented, multi-disciplinary agency environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate requirements into clear action
- A curious, resourceful mindset, comfortable learning through exploration, self-training, and teamwork
- A hands-on approach, ready to work closely and directly with assets as needed
