Position Overview

We are looking for a creative and strong Executive – Communication to support Sewa Bridge’s communication, storytelling, and digital presence. The role will work closely with the Programmes, Partnerships, and other internal teams to understand the organization’s work and translate it into clear, engaging, and impactful communication.

The role is primarily writing and content-focused, with responsibility for social media communication, content planning, storytelling, and communication collateral. The ideal candidate should have the ability to understand a story, identify what is worth communicating, and present it appropriately for different audiences and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

A. Content & Storytelling

- Develop written content for social media, websites, newsletters, blogs, reports, proposals, campaigns, and other organisational communication.
- Work with Programme and Partnership teams to understand initiatives, impact, events, and organisational developments and translate them into compelling stories and communication.
- Support the development of impact reports, proposals, presentations, brochures, and other communication materials through strong writing, editing, and content structuring.

B. Social Media & Communication Planning





- Manage the organization’s social media content across relevant platforms, with a focus on what to communicate, where, when, and how.
- Develop and maintain content calendars and plan communication around programmes, campaigns, events, partnerships, organisational milestones, and relevant occasions.
- Adapt content and messaging for different platforms and audiences while maintaining consistency in the organization’s voice and communication style.

C. Creative & Communication Support

- Support communication for events, campaigns, programmes, and partnerships, including announcements, invitations, profiles, updates, and post-event communication.
- Use Canva at a basic to intermediate level to create or edit simple social media creatives, presentations, reports, proposals, and other visual communication materials when required.
- Conduct relevant research, proofread and edit content, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure communication is accurate, timely, and well presented.

Qualification & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, Social Sciences, Social Work, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in communications, content writing, social media, digital media, or a similar role.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills with demonstrated ability in storytelling and content writing.
- Positive understanding of social media platforms, content formats, and digital communication.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Canva or similar design tools.
- Experience in the NGO, development, CSR, social-impact, or nonprofit sector will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per month
