The role

Own delivery across our engineering organisation. You lead our practice and team leads (Salesforce, Web/App), and you’re accountable for everything we ship landing on scope, on time, and on margin.

You came from engineering and have grown into leading teams — and you’re still close to the work. This is a hands-on leadership role: you run the delivery organisation, set the standard, and stay technical enough to earn your engineers’ respect. It is not a manage-from-a-deck role.

What you’ll own

- Delivery across the org — every client project ships on scope, on time, and on margin.
- The engineering leads — lead, coach, and hold accountable the practice/team leads and the QA function.
- Margin & efficiency (the core of this role) — utilization, allocation, and project profitability across the portfolio.
- Process at scale — define and continuously improve how we deliver; Agile/Scrum is the rhythm, not the goal.
- Reporting & analytics — own delivery metrics and dashboards (utilization, margin, velocity, on-time, risk); give leadership a explicit,



current picture at all times.
- Client coordination — delivery-side status, expectations, scope and change management.
- Risk & escalation — surface risks early, resolve them, escalate with options.

Must-haves

- 8–10 years in engineering, now leading engineering teams — and still hands-on / technically close to the work.
- Has managed other leads or teams, not just individual contributors.
- Owned delivery margin and utilization across multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong Agile/Scrum across teams.
- Excellent client communication — credible with senior stakeholders.
- Analytical — you define and own delivery metrics and reporting.
- Track record of building or improving delivery process as teams scaled.
- We care about capability and hands-on-ness, not a year count. A sharp engineer-turned-leader at the lower end of the range who has run leads and stays close to the work beats a senior manager who’s gone hands-off.

Nice-to-have

- Salesforce and/or AI/agent delivery exposure (Agentforce, conversational AI).
- Background at a product-engineering or services/consulting firm working across multiple stacks.

How we’ll assess you

“Walk me through the engineering org you ran — how you owned margin and utilization, a project that went wrong and how you saved it, how you grew your leads, and the last thing you built or debugged yourself.”

We’re listening for ownership, commercial instinct, leadership — and that you’re still hands-on.
