Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Embedded Engineer role based in Gurugram.
The Embedded
Engineer will design, develop, and maintain embedded software for products such as IPIS, LED displays, variable message signages, and other electronic systems. Daily responsibilities include writing and optimizing embedded code, integrating software with hardware components, performing debugging and troubleshooting, and conducting unit and integration testing. The role also involves collaborating with hardware and product teams, supporting IoT-enabled features, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring solutions meet performance,
safety, and reliability standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Embedded Software Programming and general Embedded Software development.
- Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Debugging for real-time and resource-constrained environments.
- Candidates should possess skills related to the Internet of Things (IoT), including device connectivity, communication protocols, and integration with cloud or edge systems.
- Working knowledge of C/C++ or similar languages for embedded systems, and familiarity with microcontrollers, RTOS, and communication interfaces (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, CAN).
- Ability to read hardware schematics, collaborate with hardware design teams, and use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
- Robust problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in an on-site, cross-functional team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related field; prior experience in embedded products for displays, transport systems, or solar/energy solutions is an advantage.
