About the role

Vebix Automation LLP is seeking an Electronics and Communication Engineer to join our engineering team in Pune. The selected candidate will work on the design, development, integration, testing and troubleshooting of electronic and embedded systems used in defence, industrial automation, data acquisition, underwater systems, drones and robotics.

This is a hands-on engineering role involving electronics development, sensor integration, PCB testing, embedded platforms, technical documentation and prototype development.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and test electronic and embedded systems.
- Select and integrate sensors, microcontrollers and communication modules.
- Test, debug, solder and troubleshoot PCBs and electronic assemblies.
- Prepare schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs and technical documentation.
- Integrate electronic systems with mechanical assemblies.
- Develop and test data-acquisition, automation, defence and underwater systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers for electronic components, PCBs, sensors and cable assemblies.
- Support prototype development, inspection, field trials and customer demonstrations.
- Prepare test reports, compliance documents and project records.

- Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, or Electronics & Communication Engineering with 0–1 year of experience. Freshers are encouraged to apply.

- Diploma in Electronics or E&TC; Engineering with 3–4 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

- Embedded systems and microcontroller-based product development.
- Analogue and digital electronics.
- Communication protocols including UART, RS-232, RS-485, CAN, SPI and I²C.
- PCB testing, debugging and electronic fault diagnosis.
- Sensors, instrumentation and data-acquisition systems.
- Working knowledge of Arduino, STM32, ESP32, Raspberry Pi or similar platforms.
- Basic knowledge of Python, C/C++, LabVIEW or PCB design software will be an advantage.
- Ability to read technical drawings, component datasheets and engineering specifications.

- Willingness to work on multidisciplinary engineering projects.
- Good communication, documentation and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel to vendor and customer locations when required.
- Candidates who can join at short notice will be preferred.

Employment Type: Full time

Compensation: ₹3.5–₹4.0 lakh per annum, depending on qualifications, experience and skills.
