Vilasitawear is an emerging digital-first lifestyle brand shaping conversations around fashion, culture, and conscious living across India. We blend storytelling with visual expression to connect with a young, trend-forward audience—producing editorial content that’s sharp, authentic, and platform-optimized. As a remote team, we’re built for agility, creativity, and impact—giving interns the freedom to contribute meaningfully from anywhere.

Role & Responsibilities

- Research, pitch, and write compelling articles on fashion trends, lifestyle topics, and brand narratives aligned with Vilasitawear’s voice.

- Assist in editing and proofreading content for tone, grammar, SEO, and platform-specific formatting (Instagram, blog, newsletter).

- Collaborate with the creative team to suggest visual pairings, captions, and social hooks for editorial assets.

- Monitor trends and audience engagement to recommend content improvements or current story angles.

- Support content calendar planning and help track publishing timelines across digital channels.

- Participate in editorial brainstorming sessions and contribute to developing unique, brand-driven campaigns.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have





- Strong writing and editing skills with a flair for lifestyle, fashion, or pop culture topics.

- Basic SEO familiarity—understanding keywords, meta descriptions, and readability best practices.

- Proficiency in Google Docs, Gmail, and basic content scheduling tools (Buffer, Notion, Trello).

- Comfort with social media platforms—especially Instagram, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn.

- Ability to meet deadlines and adapt voice/tone for different platforms and audiences.

- Familiarity with AP Style or equivalent editorial guidelines.

Preferred

- Experience with Canva or basic design tools for content mockups.

- Basic understanding of Google Analytics or Meta Insights for performance tracking.

- Prior internship or freelance experience in journalism, content creation, or digital media.
