Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an E-Commerce Catalogue Photo Editor based in the Gariahat | Kolkata. The role involves editing and retouching product images for online catalogues, ensuring consistent quality, color accuracy, and visual appeal across all listings.

The Photo

Editor will prepare images for various e-commerce platforms, optimize files for web use, and collaborate closely with photography, design, and merchandising teams to align visuals with brand guidelines. Daily tasks include organizing and naming image files, performing basic photo research to support shoots and listings, and occasionally assisting with photography and video content creation for product and brand storytelling.



The person in this role will help maintain a cohesive visual identity that supports sales, enhances customer experience, and strengthens the brand’s online presence.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Photo Retouching and Image Editing skills, with experience using industry-standard tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Canva).
- Candidates should possess Photography and Photo Research skills to support product shoots and ensure accurate, appealing visual representation of jewellery.
- Candidates should possess Video Editing skills to create or refine short product and promotional videos for e-commerce and social media platforms.
- Candidates should have an eye for detail, color, and composition, with an understanding of how images influence online shopping behavior and conversion.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, on-site environment, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines for catalogue updates.
- A background in design, visual arts, fashion, or related fields, and prior experience in e-commerce or product catalogue editing, will be beneficial.

Preferred Skills
- 3–6 years of experience in product/e-commerce photo editing.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and preferably Lightroom.
- Experience with jewellery, fashion, apparel, lifestyle or accessories photography will be preferred.
- Good understanding of e-commerce product image standards.
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for colour, alignment, symmetry and finishing.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple products within deadlines.
