Role Description The Documentation Specialist – Study Abroad is a full-time, on-site role based at the Kochi center. This role is responsible for handling end-to-end documentation for students applying to study abroad, including collecting, verifying, organizing, and maintaining academic, financial, and identity records.

Specialist will prepare and review application forms, admission and visa documents, and ensure compliance with institutional and country-specific requirements. The role includes coordinating with students, parents, universities, and internal teams to clarify document needs,
track application status, and meet deadlines.

Specialist will also maintain accurate databases, create checklists, support process improvements, and provide explicit guidance to students on documentation standards and timelines.
Qualifications
- Strong administrative and documentation skills, including record management, data entry accuracy, and organization of student files.
- Proficiency in written communication for drafting, reviewing, and updating application forms, letters, and email correspondence.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills for verifying documents, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with study abroad and visa requirements.
- Customer service and interpersonal skills to support students and families, explain documentation processes, and handle queries professionally.
- Basic computer and digital literacy, including use of MS Office or Google Workspace, databases/CRMs, and document scanning and storage tools.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, manage timelines, and work under deadlines in a fast-paced counseling and admissions environment.
- Prior experience in study abroad counseling, international admissions, or educational consultancy is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; education, administration, commerce, or related fields preferred.
- Knowledge of major study destinations (e.g., UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Europe) and their basic documentation requirements is highly beneficial.
