Role Description Antahin Abha Foundation is seeking District Program Managers to lead district-level implementation of its NRich-ECCE program in partnership with government institutions. The role will coordinate closely with DIET, district officials, school leaders, ICDS stakeholders, teachers, and Abha’s field teams to ensure high-quality implementation across selected blocks.
The candidate should understand the realities of public education systems and must bring strong field leadership, stakeholder coordination, and program management experience, along with a commitment to improving foundational learning for children in low-resource communities.
Qualifications
- Experience in program management, project planning, and implementation within the non-profit or social impact sector.
- 7–12 years of experience in education program implementation, district-level operations, teacher training, NGO programs, or government education projects.
- Experience working with DIET,
district education systems, ICDS, government schools, or teacher capacity-building programs preferred.
- Comfortable using digital tools and dashboards for tracking progress.
- Robust communication skills in Bengali; working knowledge of English preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned district/s.
- Strong abilities in monitoring and evaluation, data collection, reporting, and use of basic digital tools for documentation.
- Background or knowledge in education, youth development, or mental health initiatives is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated leadership, team management, and conflict-resolution skills, with a collaborative work approach.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Education, Development Studies, Management, or a related field.
