Orchestra Music Academy (OMA) is seeking an experienced music industry, performing arts, or arts education professional based in India to lead the development of our Orchestra Music Academy programs, student recruitment, venue partnerships and live orchestral film concert residencies throughout India.

This is a senior business-development position for someone with extensive experience and established relationships within India's orchestra, classical music, music education, performing arts, venue, conservatory, university or entertainment industries.

ABOUT ORCHESTRA MUSIC ACADEMY

OMA is developing an international educational and performance platform that brings together:

Orchestra and music education

Professional musicians and instructors

Youth and university-level musicians

Major international performance venues

Hollywood films performed live with symphony orchestra

Performances with Grammy Award-winning and internationally recognized American recording artists

International travel and performance opportunities for musicians

Our goal is to give young musicians something rarely available through traditional music education: the opportunity to study, rehearse and perform alongside professional musicians in extraordinary venues around the world.

HOLLYWOOD FILM CONCERT PRODUCTIONS

OMA is developing educational programs and live symphonic concert opportunities involving six major Hollywood motion pictures:

Batman (1989)

Batman Returns

Wonder Woman

Aquaman

Joker

Rocky – 50th Anniversary

These productions combine the complete motion picture on a large screen with the film's musical score performed live by symphony orchestra.

Students participating in OMA programs may have opportunities to train and rehearse alongside qualified musicians and participate in selected live film-orchestra performances.

INTERNATIONAL ARTIST & PERFORMANCE EXPERIENCES In addition to our Hollywood film concert productions, OMA is developing extraordinary international performance opportunities involving Grammy Award-winning and internationally recognized American artists, qualified musicians and participating OMA students.

International performance destinations and concepts include:

ATHENS, GREECE

Performances overlooking the Acropolis, combining one of the world's most historic destinations with internationally recognized American artists and orchestral musicians.

VENICE, ITALY

Special orchestral and artist performances in Venice as part of OMA's Italy educational and performance programs.

PARIS, FRANCE A unique performance experience at the Eiffel Tower,



providing students with the opportunity to participate in an international music program in one of the world's great cultural capitals.

BEIJING, CHINA

Major performance and educational opportunities connected with the Forbidden City and Outstanding Wall of China, bringing together musicians from China, North America and other international markets.

CAIRO, EGYPT A spectacular international music experience featuring performances overlooking the Pyramids, combining music education, cultural travel and live performance.

These programs are designed to give talented musicians opportunities that extend far beyond the traditional classroom or conservatory.

INDIA EXPANSION

OMA is now seeking to establish a significant presence in India, initially concentrating on:

Mumbai • Bengaluru • Chennai • Delhi NCR • Hyderabad

Our India initiative will combine student education, professional orchestral training and major public film-with-live-orchestra performances.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate will be responsible for helping establish and grow OMA throughout India, including:

Identify and develop relationships with symphony orchestras, youth orchestras, conservatories and music academies

Establish partnerships with universities, colleges, international schools and private music schools

Identify and negotiate with suitable 500–1,500+ seat theatres, concert halls and performing arts venues

Develop partnerships with professional orchestral musicians, conductors and music educators

Recruit qualified students for OMA India programs

Develop relationships with violin, viola, cello, bass, woodwind, brass and percussion teachers

Recruit students through schools, universities, conservatories and private music programs

Develop relationships with organizations involved in Western classical music and film music

Organize auditions and identify outstanding young musicians throughout India

Develop corporate and institutional partnerships

Assist in developing sponsorship opportunities

Coordinate with OMA's international management team

Help establish OMA's Hollywood Film Orchestra Residency concept in India

Build a national network of musicians who can be considered for future international OMA programs and performances

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR





We are particularly interested in candidates with significant professional experience and established contacts throughout India's music and performing-arts community.

Ideal professional backgrounds include

Orchestra or symphony management

Conservatory or music-school administration

Performing arts management

Music education

Concert promotion

Venue management

Artist or orchestra representation

University music programs

Youth orchestra administration

Classical music organizations

Film-music or studio-orchestra production

Applicants should have a strong understanding of India's music-education and performing-arts industries and be comfortable developing relationships at the executive level.

Excellent English communication skills are required.

The candidate should be entrepreneurial, highly organized and capable of independently developing partnerships and new business opportunities.

COMPENSATION

This is a base salary + commission position.

Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience, industry relationships and ability to develop the Indian market.

In addition to base compensation, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to earn commissions based on student recruitment, partnerships, programs and business generated.

For an exceptional candidate, there is significant potential to grow into a senior leadership position overseeing OMA's long-term operations throughout India.

We are building an international platform where young musicians can progress from music education → professional orchestral training → Hollywood film performances → performances with internationally recognized artists → international performance opportunities.

Imagine a young musician from India having the opportunity to perform a major Hollywood film score with a symphony orchestra and potentially continue their OMA experience through performances overlooking the Acropolis in Greece, in Venice, at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, at extraordinary locations in China, or overlooking the Pyramids in Egypt.

We are looking for an experienced professional in India who understands both music education and the business of live entertainment and wants to help build this program from the ground up.
