Role Description The Direct Tax Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing income tax returns for individuals, firms, and companies, assisting with tax computations, advance tax workings, and TDS-related matters, and supporting tax audits and statutory audits from a direct tax perspective. The role involves analyzing financial statements for tax implications, preparing documentation and working papers,



handling routine tax assessments and notices, and coordinating with tax authorities as required.

The Direct Tax

Executive will also research tax laws and amendments, assist in tax planning assignments, and collaborate with senior team members to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely delivery of tax-related services.

Qualifications

- Solid accounting and finance foundation, with skills in Accounting and Finance.
- Experience in preparing and interpreting Financial Statements and Financial Reporting.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to assess tax implications and identify issues or risks.
- Relevant academic background such as B.Com, CA Inter, or equivalent qualification in accounting, finance, or taxation.
- Knowledge of Indian direct tax laws, income tax provisions, and related compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and tax/accounting software; ability to maintain detailed working papers.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a professional services environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
