About the Role:

We are looking for a high-impact DGM – Brand Alliances to lead strategic partnerships with leading brands, OEMs and ecosystem players. The role will be responsible for identifying, building and scaling alliances that drive revenue, customer acquisition, engagement and business growth for Paytm.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in brand partnerships, strategic alliances, business development and commercial negotiations, with the ability to work with senior stakeholders across large enterprises and consumer brands.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own and drive the Brand Alliances charter, including identification, acquisition and growth of strategic brand partnerships.
- Build and manage relationships with large brands, OEMs, retailers and ecosystem partners to create mutually beneficial business opportunities.
- Develop and execute partnership strategies aligned with Paytm's business objectives and growth priorities.
- Identify new opportunities across co-marketing, customer acquisition, offers, loyalty, payments and embedded propositions.
- Lead commercial discussions, negotiations and closure of strategic partnership agreements.
- Develop joint business plans with partners and ensure effective execution against agreed objectives.
- Drive alliance-led revenue, GMV, customer acquisition and engagement metrics.
- Work closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal and other internal teams to launch and scale partnerships.




- Build compelling partnership propositions and business cases using market insights, consumer trends and partner priorities.
- Manage the complete partnership lifecycle — from prospecting and negotiation to launch, performance tracking and expansion.
- Monitor partner performance and identify opportunities to increase wallet share, engagement and revenue.
- Build strong senior-level relationships with CXOs and business heads across partner organizations.
- Track market trends, competitive partnerships and emerging opportunities to maintain Paytm's leadership position.
- Lead and mentor team members while establishing solid processes and governance for the alliances function.

What We Are Looking For:

- 10–15 years of experience in Strategic Alliances, Brand Partnerships, Business Development, Key Account Management or Sales.
- Strong experience working with large brands, OEMs, enterprises or consumer-facing businesses.
- Proven track record of building and scaling strategic partnerships with measurable business impact.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in negotiations, business cases and revenue ownership.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, particularly with senior leadership.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Prior experience in FinTech, Payments, E-commerce, Consumer Internet, BFSI, Retail or related industries would be an advantage.
