We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer Consultant with strong expertise in ETL/ELT, SQL, Python and GCP. The role will focus on designing and developing scalable data engineering solutions and working with cloud-based data platforms and data pipelines.

Experience working with Financial & Accounting data will be highly preferred for some team members.

Role &

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for processing large volumes of data.
- Develop productive and optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation and loading.
- Build data engineering solutions using Python and GCP.
- Work with cloud data platforms including Google BigQuery.
- Develop and maintain batch processing and automation scripts.
- Work with databases such as Google BigQuery, Teradata and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Use GitHub and DevOps practices for source control, CI/CD and deployment.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines while ensuring data quality, reliability and performance.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline and production issues.
- Collaborate with business,



data and technology teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Contribute to technical discussions and recommend improvements to data engineering processes.

Required Skills &

Experience :

- 8 - 13 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with ETL/ELT methodologies.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Good experience with Python.
- Hands-on experience with GCP.
- Strong experience with Google BigQuery.
- Experience with Teradata and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with GitHub and DevOps.
- Experience with Batch Scripting.
- Knowledge of PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of data pipelines and data processing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred :

- Experience working with Financial & Accounting data.
- Experience with large-scale data migration or transformation projects.
- Experience with cloud-based data engineering solutions.
