Role Description

This full-time remote Data Analyst role is responsible for transforming complex data into explicit, actionable insights that support product, operations, and leadership decisions. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting, cleaning, and validating data from multiple sources, building dashboards and reports, and performing exploratory and statistical analysis to identify trends and patterns related to cross-border payments and platform performance.

The Data

Analyst will collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to define metrics, support experimentation, and improve data quality and accessibility.



The role also involves presenting findings in a clear narrative, creating documentation for recurring analyses, and helping drive data-informed strategies across Echo Money’s services.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills and applied Data Analytics experience, with the ability to work with large, complex datasets.
- Solid foundation in Statistics and quantitative methods, including hypothesis testing and basic predictive analysis.
- Experience in Data Modeling and structuring data for reporting, dashboards, and scalable analytics solutions.
- Effective Communication skills, including the ability to translate technical findings into clear, business-focused insights.
- Proficiency with SQL and at least one analytics or scripting language (e.g., Python or R).
- Hands-on experience with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar).
- Understanding of financial services, payments, or fintech domains is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
