About the RoleWe are looking for a Cyber Security Intern to join our remote cybersecurity team. This internship will provide hands-on exposure to ethical hacking, network security, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and security tools.

You’ll work on practical cybersecurity exercises and projects while learning how to identify vulnerabilities, analyze security risks, and implement basic security measures.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform basic vulnerability assessment and security testing
- Conduct ethical hacking exercises in authorized lab environments
- Work with Kali Linux and common cybersecurity tools
- Analyze network traffic and identify potential security issues
- Learn and perform basic penetration testing techniques
- Work with concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, ARP, and network security
- Perform basic web application security testing
- Identify and document security vulnerabilities
- Assist in security audits and risk assessments
- Prepare security reports documenting findings and recommendations




- Work on practical cybersecurity projects and simulations
- Follow ethical and responsible security practices

What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, Information Security, or a related field
- Basic understanding of networking and cybersecurity concepts
- Familiarity with Linux/Kali Linux is preferred
- Basic knowledge of Python is a plus
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and common network protocols
- Familiarity with tools such as Nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite, or Metasploit is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and explore cybersecurity technologies
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Own laptop and stable internet connection
