Wakeup is looking for a motivated Cyber Security Intern to support security monitoring, vulnerability assessment, security testing, and incident analysis activities.

Key Areas
- Ethical Hacking – Security testing and vulnerability identification
- SOC – Security monitoring and alert analysis
- SIEM – Log management, event correlation, and security investigation
- VAPT – Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with monitoring security events and alerts within SOC environments
- Review and analyze security logs using SIEM platforms
- Support the identification and investigation of suspicious activities
- Assist in vulnerability assessment of authorized systems and applications
- Participate in controlled penetration-testing and security assessment activities
- Document identified vulnerabilities, observations, and security findings
- Support the preparation of vulnerability and security assessment reports
- Research common cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and defensive techniques
- Assist with security documentation and incident-related records
- Follow established security procedures and responsible testing practices
What We’re Looking For
✔️ Basic understanding of cybersecurity and information security concepts
✔️ Familiarity with networking and operating system fundamentals
✔️ Interest in ethical hacking and security testing
✔️ Understanding of SOC and SIEM fundamentals
✔️ Basic knowledge of vulnerability assessment and penetration testing
✔️ Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
✔️ Curiosity and willingness to continuously learn cybersecurity concepts
