Role Description The Cyber Security Instructor/Mentor is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This position involves designing and delivering structured training sessions in cybersecurity domains, including network, application, and information security. The instructor/mentor will create and update curriculum content to reflect current industry trends, develop lab exercises and real-world scenarios, and guide learners through hands-on projects.

Daily responsibilities include conducting interactive classes, mentoring students one-on-one and in small groups, assessing learner progress, providing constructive feedback,



and preparing learners for certifications and job readiness. The role also requires collaboration with other instructors and the training team to continuously improve course materials and learning outcomes.

Qualifications

- Robust foundation in Cybersecurity, with the ability to teach core principles, best practices, and emerging threats.
- Hands-on expertise in Network Security, including secure network design, configuration, monitoring, and incident response.
- Practical skills in Application Security, such as secure coding concepts, vulnerability identification, and mitigation techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of Information Security, including risk management, governance, compliance, and data protection frameworks.
- Experience in Malware Analysis, reverse engineering fundamentals, and threat detection methodologies.
- Prior experience as a trainer, instructor, or mentor in IT or cybersecurity, with clear and engaging communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, CISSP, Security+, OSCP, or equivalent) are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to design practical lab environments, use security tools, and translate complex concepts into accessible learning content.
- Commitment to an inclusive learning environment and the ability to support learners from diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
