Role OverviewWe are looking for a Curriculum Specialist who will act as the academic face of Shubhanga Publications to our school partners. This is a field-based, school-facing role that blends sales support with academic ownership — you will visit schools to present our curriculum-aligned books, and you will work behind the scenes on Teacher Resource Material (TRM), question papers, and other academic deliverables that keep schools happy and engaged with Shubhanga.

Key ResponsibilitiesSchool Visits & Sales Assistance

- Visit schools (CBSE/State Board) to present and brief academic teams, principals, and coordinators on Shubhanga's curriculum books and content
- Support the sales team during client meetings by providing subject-matter and curriculum expertise
- Address academic queries from schools regarding book content, syllabus alignment, and pedagogy
- Assist in converting school leads by demonstrating curriculum fit and content quality

Academic Content & Support

- Develop and update Teacher Resource Material (TRM) to accompany Shubhanga's textbooks
- Prepare question papers, worksheets, and assessment material aligned to CBSE/State Board curricula




- Coordinate with the content/editorial team to ensure books stay curriculum-compliant and updated with syllabus changes
- Support other academic activities (workshops, teacher training inputs, curriculum mapping) as needed

Client Relationship & Retention

- Serve as the ongoing academic point of contact for schools already using Shubhanga books
- Proactively resolve academic/content concerns raised by schools to ensure satisfaction and renewal
- Gather feedback from teachers and schools to inform content improvements

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, or a relevant subject discipline (B.Ed. preferred); Master's degree a plus
- 2–5 years of experience in curriculum development, teaching, academic coordination, or educational publishing
- Strong understanding of CBSE and/or State Board curricula and assessment patterns
- Willingness to travel extensively for school visits within the assigned territory

Preferred Skills
- Prior classroom teaching experience
- Experience creating TRMs, question papers, or academic content for publishers
- Comfortable presenting to school leadership and teaching staff
- Good communication skills in English and [regional language(s) relevant to territory — e.g., Telugu/Kannada/Marathi]
- Basic proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace
