The Aspen Institute New Zealand is an independent, non-partisan and not-for-profit organisation for all New Zealanders with a mission to resolve critical intergenerational issues through dialogue. Their global reach enables New Zealanders to tap into one of the most influential networks in the world including over 500 team members spread across 14 countries.
The original home and inspiration of the Institute is Aspen, Colorado, with the New Zealand arm being founded in 2018, as the first partner organisation in the southern hemisphere by Christine Maiden Sharp with co-patrons the Rt. Hon.

Zealand offers unprecedented access to the leadership forums and convening power of the wider Aspen Institute by working collaboratively across borders, addressing global challenges and developing values-based leaders.
Working remotely and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will achieve an enduring legacy by successfully generating short, medium and long-term corporate and commercial partnership opportunities through the development of partnership models and securing financial support from sponsors throughout the country. You will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new major corporate prospects and funding opportunities while maintaining existing partnerships through excellent relationship building.
You will also oversee, manage and analyse the corporate partner database, assist in developing sponsorship offerings and be responsible for profile raising communications.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate experience leading effective income generating activities with a corporate interface. Your aptitude for nurturing and sustaining senior commercial connections through your strong interpersonal skills, networks and self-directed approach to sales will be key to your success.
As someone who relishes the challenge of identifying, qualifying and securing major donor prospects, you will have a strategic, long-term, understanding of planning and executing relevant corporate sponsorship programmes. You will ideally be based in a main commercial centre.
