Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cooking Helper role based in Hyderabad.

The Cooking

Helper will support chefs and kitchen staff by assisting with basic food preparation, such as washing, peeling, chopping ingredients, and portioning dishes.

Responsibilities include maintaining kitchen cleanliness, organizing utensils and equipment, following hygiene and safety standards, and helping with dish plating and service preparation. The role also involves receiving and storing supplies, minimizing waste,



and following instructions from senior kitchen team members.

The Cooking

Helper is expected to work in a fast-paced environment, support smooth meal service, and cooperate with the team across different shifts as required.

Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and interest in working in a professional kitchen.
- Understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety practices in a commercial kitchen.
- Ability to follow instructions, work efficiently, and support chefs and kitchen staff during busy service times.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
- Prior experience in a restaurant or catering kitchen is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; vocational training in culinary arts is a plus.
