Contracts Manager - India

Riviera is looking for a Contracts Manager to join our dynamic Business Operations team and expand our current contracting capabilities and support our globally distributed commercial teams from our Delhi office. We’re looking for someone who is eager to have a real impact on our agreement life cycle for sales, vendor, and partner contracts, who is eager to collaborate and build strong relationships with internal and external parties.

Responsibilities:

Join a globally distributed contracts team, reporting to the Head of Contracts in the US and partnering closely with fellow Contracts Managers in Delhi and the US, to jointly own, manage, and maintain the full lifecycle of customer and vendor contracts.

Draft, review, redline, and negotiate customer and vendor agreements - including MSAs, NDAs, SOWs, order forms, renewals, and amendments - taking first-pass ownership through to signature and escalating non-standard positions as needed.

Liaise with internal and external clients effectively to address legal and business questions.

Ensure contract language accurately conveys the negotiated business terms while protecting the company’s interests, proposing alternative drafting where positions diverge.

Assist in process of creating, managing, and updating contract related system documentation, templates, and language library.

Document and aid in development of drafting internal department policies and processes.

Utilize critical thinking to analyze complex contract requirements, special provisions, pricing, internal approvals, and terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and policies limiting overall business risks.

Creatively consult with sales and/or internal business partners on alternative contract options to meet necessary requirements.

Communicate, educate,

and train on contract policies and practices to the internal business partners.

Support, juggle, and manage multiple projects (sometimes special ad-hoc projects) simultaneously on a time-sensitive basis to meet deadlines in a dynamic and demanding environment with a globally distributed team while providing outstanding support to our internal partners and external customers.

Serve as primary liaison for inquiries from both external parties and internal groups regarding contractual matters.

Prepare and present reports on contract performance metrics to senior management.

Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact contract management.

Support additional Operational responsibilities as they arise.

You bring:

· Strong knowledge of commercial contracting principles and legal terminology evidenced with proven experience crafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Statement of Works (SOWs), Renewals, Amendments, Addendums, Order Forms, etc.

· Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills

· Ownership and management of the sales contracting process from drafting to finalization and processing with the company CRM

· Excellent data management skills and proof-reading ability

· Ability to exercise discretion and properly handle confidential and sensitive information

· Bachelor’s degree; LLB or an equivalent legal or contract-management qualification is an advantage

You'll stand out if you:

· Have experience in adapting and executing in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment

· Possess robust problem-solving and communication experience
