About the Role

We’re looking for someone whose life revolves around a camera.

Someone who genuinely enjoys shooting, experimenting with light, composing frames, editing footage and turning ordinary moments into captivating content.

At Pitaara, you’ll work hands-on across product photography, videography, reels, cinematic product films, behind-the-scenes content, founder-led videos, Indian art storytelling and festive campaigns.

This is a camera-first, creation-first role. We value raw creative ability, observation and craftsmanship more than dependence on GenAI. AI is welcome as a tool to improve the process but it should never replace the ability to think, shoot and create.

What You’ll Do

- Shoot high-quality product photographs and videos of Pitaara’s packaging, sweets boxes and gifting products.
- Create engaging, viral-potential Reels and short-form videos for Instagram, YouTube Shorts and other platforms.
- Understand camera settings, lenses, exposure, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, frame rates and composition.
- Understand the physics and practical application of lighting, direction, softness, diffusion, reflection, colour temperature and light shaping.
- Evaluate our existing camera and lighting setup and suggest practical gear/studio upgrades wherever required.
- Help develop our office content area into a more professional and efficient photo/video studio setup.
- Shoot product details such as textures, artwork, foil, print finish, box opening, tray fitment and packaging experience beautifully.
- Plan shots, camera movement, lighting and visual treatment with a strong understanding of cinematography.
- Edit professionally using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent software.




- Work with cinematic colour correction and colour grading to give content a polished visual identity.
- Ideate hooks, scripts, shot sequences and storytelling formats that have strong social-media potential.
- Understand Pitaara’s products, Indian-art inspiration, audience and startup vision and translate that understanding into content.
- Collaborate closely with the founder and the creative team on shoots, campaigns and experiments.

Who We’re Looking For

- You understand how to handle a camera confidently, not just a smartphone.
- You have a strong eye for lighting, framing, composition, movement, colour and detail.
- You can independently take a piece of content from idea → shoot → edit → final output.
- You understand short-form content and what makes people stop scrolling.
- You are comfortable with professional video-editing workflows.
- You are curious, experimental and have a strong zeal for learning and improving your craft.
- You are a positive communicator and a strong team player.
- You are punctual, dependable and respect other people’s time.
- You notice the small things because great visual content is often built on details others miss.
- You must be available to work in-office in Indore.

Good to Have

- Experience with product photography or commercial videography.
- Knowledge of studio lighting, modifiers, lenses and camera equipment.
- Experience with cinematography and advanced colour grading.
- Experience creating Reels/content for brands, products, cafés, fashion, lifestyle or creators.
- Ability to direct people comfortably during shoots.
- Knowledge of AI tools for ideation, scripting, cleanup, editing or creative enhancement.

AI skills are an advantage. Dependence on AI is not.
