Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled SQL Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining relational databases. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, performance tuning, and database optimization. The candidate will work closely with application developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality database solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain SQL database objects including tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for application development and reporting.
- Perform query optimization, indexing, and execution plan analysis to improve database performance.
- Develop ETL processes and support data migration activities.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, security, and high availability.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.
- Monitor database performance and resolve production issues.
- Collaborate with application developers and QA teams during development and deployment.
- Maintain database documentation, scripts, and release versions.
- Participate in code reviews and recommend database best practices.

Required Technical Skills

- Robust knowledge of SQL and Relational Database Management Systems.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

- Strong understanding of indexing strategies and query optimization.




- Experience in database performance tuning and execution plans.
- Knowledge of transactions, locking, concurrency, and normalization.
- Experience with ETL processes and data migration.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Exposure to SSIS, SSRS, SSAS (preferred for Microsoft SQL Server environments).
- Basic understanding of cloud databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, PostgreSQL) is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), Retail, Healthcare, Telecom, or Airline domains.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant database certifications are an added advantage.
