Civil Engineer – Estimation, Costing & Tendering

We are particularly looking for candidates who have experience in Government Projects and have previously worked in an Architectural Practice / Consultancy Firm

.

Position: Civil Engineer – Estimation, Costing & Tenderin gExperience: 2–4 Year sPreferred Experience: Government Projects + Architectural Practic e

Key Responsibilitie s

- Prepare detailed estimates, cost plans, BOQs, quantity take-offs, and rate analysis for civil and building projects

.• Prepare and manage tender documents, including technical and commercial documentation

.• Study architectural, structural, and service drawings to accurately assess quantities and project requirements

.• Prepare detailed project cost estimates and assist in budget planning and cost control

.• Collect, evaluate, and compare quotations from contractors, suppliers, and vendors

.• Assist in government tendering processes, including preparation and compilation of required documents

.• Review tender conditions, specifications, BOQs, drawings, and scope of work

.• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, clients, and government departments

.• Assist with measurement, billing, variation statements, and cost reconciliation

.• Maintain proper documentation and records related to estimates, tenders, quotations, and project costs

.• Support project teams in ensuring work is aligned with approved drawings, specifications, budgets, and timelines

We are looking for a Civil Engineer who has

✔️ 2–4 years of relevant professional experien ce✔️ Hands-on experience in Estimation, Costing, BOQ, Rate Analysis & Tender ing✔️ Experience working on Government Projects will be highly prefe rred✔️ Previous experience in an Architectural Practice, Architecture Firm, PMC, or Consultancy will be an adva ntage✔️ Good understanding of construction methods, materials, specifications, and building pr ojects✔️ Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural d rawings✔️ Strong knowledge of MS Excel and estimation/tendering docum entation✔️ Good communication, coordination, and documentati on skills✔️ Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Candidates with experience in any of the following will have an added advantage:

? Government department procedures and tender re quirements? CPWD / State SOR / DSR and rat e analysis? E-tendering and online tend er portals? Preparation of technical submissions and tender proposals? Project documentation and contract admi nistration? Knowledge of AutoCAD and constructio n drawings? Site coordination and project execution experience
