Role Description The Chief Security Officer (CSO) is a full-time, in office leadership role based at the Shreeyam National TMT facility in Gandhidham. This role oversees the development and implementation of comprehensive security strategies covering plant premises, personnel, materials, information, and logistics. Daily responsibilities include managing and supervising security teams, monitoring access control systems, overseeing surveillance operations, and coordinating patrols to ensure safe and compliant operations.

The CSO will conduct regular risk assessments, investigate security incidents, maintain incident reports, and implement corrective and preventive measures in line with regulatory and company standards.



The role also involves collaborating with senior management, local authorities, and cross-functional departments, leading emergency response planning and drills, and driving continuous improvement in security policies, procedures, and awareness across the organization.

Qualifications

- Strong background in physical security management, including perimeter security, access control, and surveillance operations in industrial or large plant environments.
- Experience in risk assessment, threat analysis, incident investigation, and crisis or emergency response planning.
- Knowledge of relevant security, safety, and compliance regulations applicable to manufacturing and heavy industry.
- Proven leadership skills in managing diverse security teams, contractors, and vendors, with the ability to train and develop staff.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership, operations, HR, and external agencies, including law enforcement and regulatory bodies.
- Strong communication, report writing, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Experience implementing security technologies such as CCTV systems, access management tools, and alarm or monitoring systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal justice, industrial safety, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, industrial security certifications) are an advantage.
