Role Description This is an on-site internship role for a Chartered Accountant intern based in Raipur. The intern will assist in preparing and reviewing working papers and documentation related to GST, Customs, and other indirect taxes, under the guidance of senior team members. Day-to-day tasks will include supporting tax compliance and return filings, helping in tax audits and assessments, performing basic research on indirect tax laws and updates, and contributing to client queries and advisory notes.





The intern will also help in maintaining accurate records, coordinating with clients and internal teams, and participating in internal knowledge-sharing sessions to build practical skills in indirect taxation.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of accounting principles and basic understanding of indirect taxation, including GST and related regulations.
- Candidates should possess skills in financial analysis, working paper preparation, and accurate documentation of tax and accounting data.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools, with the ability to work with spreadsheets and tax computation templates.
- Candidates should possess solid analytical, problem-solving, and research skills to interpret tax provisions and recent amendments.
- Candidates should possess clear written and verbal communication skills for interaction with clients and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess valuable organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Pursuing or completed Chartered Accountancy (CA) professional course; articleship or prior internship experience in taxation or audit will be an advantage.
- Ability to work ethically in a team environment, willingness to learn, and openness to receiving guidance and feedback.
