Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Ahmedabad.

The Chartered

Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. The role involves preparing financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. The professional will oversee statutory compliance, including GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulatory filings, and coordinate with auditors and tax consultants during audits and assessments.

Responsibilities also include budgeting, variance analysis, cost tracking for manufacturing operations,



cash flow management, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making. The role may further involve reviewing internal controls, improving finance processes, and supporting ERP implementation or enhancements.

Qualifications

- Recognized Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and taxation laws.
- Experience in financial accounting and reporting, including preparation of balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow statements.
- Proficiency in statutory compliance, including GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulatory reporting requirements.
- Skills in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or chemical industry environment.
- Ability to work with accounting software and ERP systems; strong MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, management, and external auditors.
- Demonstrated integrity, professional ethics, and ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
- Prior experience in a mid-sized or large industrial/manufacturing organization is an advantage.
- Comfort working on-site in Ahmedabad and managing time-sensitive financial and compliance deadlines.
